Schéma d'une marmite Norvégienne (En français puis en anglais)

La marmite norvégienne (ou cuiseur sans feu) est une caisse isolante fonctionnant selon le principe de la bouteille thermos. Il permet de terminer la cuisson à l’étouffée et de conserver le plat chaud pendant plusieurs heures.

ENGLISH VERSION

A hay box, straw box or fireless cooker is a cooker that utilizes the heat of the food being cooked to complete the cooking process. Food items to be cooked are heated to boiling point, and then insulated.
